Dear friends, unfortunately we have sad news for our players from Skadi x300 game server.
Please take a look at this important announcement.
Massive hack-attack
Yesterday was happened massive hack-attack on web and game servers (union, new, skadi).
As you could see, we turned off the new server for an hour and a half for unscheduled maintenance.
The attack was simultaneously on all game servers and unfortunately we did not have enough people to save all 3 servers.
And while we were saving New and Union servers, Skadi was ruthlessly killed with all backups
Since yesterday we tried to resurrect it but no success. So, this is it. From today, we can officially announce that the story of Skadi server is ended.
Perhaps you have already seen or will see the news that many servers experienced problems yesterday, because hackers attacked not only our project.
That was most dangerous and massive attack since we opened Union in April 2020.
Future Plans
Skadi was very fun server, but in the current realities, we did not have enough resources to pay enough attention to it.
It was painful for us to watch how players asked us to launch some kind of event or install latest patch like on NEW. But we did not have enough people and time to do it ;(
Perhaps, after the end of the war, we will someday decide to open the same server again, taking into account all the mistakes of the previous one.
But we have no such plans for the near future for obvious reasons...
Also we understand that there is no way we can refund your time and effort, and we are very sorry about it. This attack was a very strong blow on our team too.
But we want to do at least something for the players who stayed with us on Skadi until the end. Now we are working on recovering possible information about player accounts.
After that, we want to offer a huge compensation for Skadi x300 players at the NEW x50 (Winter) server, so they will have an opportunity to start on NEW with comfort.
At the moment, we do not have more detailed information. But stay tuned for announcements in early January.
