Game won't lauch

Hello there!

I have downloaded the patch, lauched the game and everything went fine.

Then i closed the game.

Now every time i try to lauch the game, through updater or l2.exe, windows shows little prompt window very fast then it closes itself, shield.exe appears at system tray, but soon enought it disapperas from there. Nothing happens =(

Any clue about this issue?

I've tried deleting the system folder and running updater again, but nothing changed =(

Try reinstall the game, add folder to antivirus exclusions.
Maybe run scandisk on your hdd

Well, its kinda weird because i had played for a moment.. I tried doing it all and nothing changed. Every other server it goes fine

Seems like its my Windows 8.1 thats bothering me. All was solved when i changed l2.exe compatibility mode to Windows 7 =O

Now i can play haha xD but its still weird
