Dear players!

We are glad to announce the new location of Interlude Final 1.5 update Giant's Cave - Silent Valey.
04.05, after regular morning restart you can visit it by yourself!

A few words about our goals we wanted to achieve with creation of this new location.
Interlude is a great chronicles with a clear and simple character growth system but unfortunately cap is usually achieved too quick. We have tried to find additional tools to extend the process by adding rare equipment, more simple sub skills system, ability to enchant 3rd prof skills and over enchant (OE) bonuses for equipment sets and weapons.

Also one of the main weak points of the Interlude is daily pvp, and it cause of the low cap of the character development. "Why I need to fight for the spot if I can just relax and come later or just pick another one. Anyway it's about 1 or 2 days defference."

Due to all of those facts we've decide to deal with all of mentioned issues to maximize your game experience by adding the new location, with new quests that can help you to improve your equipment by unseal it on your personal class.

So we are glad to announce the Silent Valley - Valley of the Exiled Giants.

This location is inhabitet by monsters which lost their control during the war of gods when they have met Goddes Shilen and her dragons. They have betrayed their brothers and were fighting for Goddes of Destruction and after defeat they have been expelled from the Giant's Cave. They still want to return back to their home but being driven by their generals Ain, Mavon and Seth, they have occupied the approaches to Giant's Cave.

Giants and their allies ask you to help in definition of madness brothers.
You need to hunt down the monster to prove your loyalty to the Giant race and they will share their knowledge with you which will help you to improve your armor.

Location population
There are group of monsters with their leader which is aggressive and once you will fight against him - all of the guards will engage to protect the leader. Also there are a regular warriors walking around and some scouts.
Except mobs - you will face 3 new Raid Bosses, which have usefull drop and they are needed to complete the quest.

Groups

Monsters have some active and passive skills, which we will not describe to not ruin the spirit of adventurism. Go and test the location by your self, create your own strategy of farming etc. Be createful.
PS: Some monster has a magic reflect.

Solo-monsters

You will also find a solo monster at the location.
1. Archers and Warriors - agressive monsters that will try to make you leave the location.
2. Scouts - aggressive monsters that can see through the Stealth\Shadow.They scouting their region and will fight you. If they can't defeat you - they will run to other monster, which will attack you right away. You will have 40 sec to kill it, before he will announce the invasion.

Quest information

At the start and at the end the location 2 NPCs, which will provide you with the task from the Giants to improve your armor.

Giant's Assistant Keoh
You can find him at the start of the location, right on the TP spot. He will tell you the story of this location and will offer to do some tasks to improve your armor. If you will defeat monster at this location - you will receive a Piece of Giant items.
There are 3 stages of the Alliance with Giants.

1st level:

• Bring 100 Piece of Giant (Quest item).
  • Drop chance 50-70%;
  • Droping in the group, but only to 1 character with quest at the time.
• Monsters to hunt:
  • Giant Shooter Carcass;
  • Giant Bathus;
  • Giant Kshan;
  • Royal Giant Templar Utenus;
  • Giant Commander Harnak;
  • Giant Commander Colonel.
• Reward:
  • Alliance with Giants - 1 level;
  • Access to the 2nd part of the quest.

2nd level:

• Bring 200 Piece of Giant (Quest item).
  • Drop chance 50-70%;
  • Droping in the group, but only to 1 character with quest at the time.
• Monsters to hunt:
  • Giant Shooter Carcass;
  • Giant Bathus;
  • Giant Kshan;
  • Royal Giant Templar Utenus;
  • Giant Commander Harnak;
  • Giant Commander Colonel.
• Reward:
  • Alliance with Giants - 2 level;
  • Access to the 3rd part of the quest.

3rd level:

• Bring 300 Piece of Giant (Quest item).
  • Drop chance 50-70%;
  • Droping in the group, but only to 1 character with quest at the time.
• Monsters to hunt:
  • Giant Shooter Carcass;
  • Giant Bathus;
  • Giant Kshan;
  • Royal Giant Templar Utenus;
  • Giant Commander Harnak;
  • Giant Commander Colonel.
• Bring Proof of Ain's death, Proof of Seth's death, Proof of Mavon's death (Quest items).
  • Can be received from Raid Bosses Ain, Seth and Mavon;
  • Drop chance is 100% for all characters with 3rd Ally quest in the group which made a last hit to the Boss.
• Reward:
  • Alliance with Giants - 3 level;
  • Now monsters will drop Essence of Giant Soul (Quest item), that you will need to purchace items from improving the armor.

When you receive the Alliance with Giants - 3 level from 3rd quest - monsters will drop Essence of Giant Soul, which you can bring to the NPC Giant's Blacksmith Dent and trade on rec. for breastbplate piece.


Armor improvement system
To improve you S-Grade armor for your class you will need:

1. Collect 1500 Essence of Giant Soul (Quest items).
2. Trade them + 10кк adena for one of the 3 recipe, depending on what type of armor do you want to improve:
   1. Giant's Breastplate Recipe - Leather (100%)
   2. Giant's Breastplate Recipe - Heavy (100%)
   3. Giant's Breastplate Recipe - Robe (100%)
      • Please note, that you will need to add such recipe to the Craft book, as a regular rec.
3. Gather necessary amount of resources to craft special item - Giant's Breastplate Piece (it's not a armor, it's special part)
   1. Giant's Breastplate Piece (Lethaer Armor)
   2. Giant's Breastplate Piece (Heavy Armor)
   3. Giant's Breastplate Piece (Robe)
4. When you have a Giant's Breastplate Piece and S-Grade armor you can trade them at NPC Giant's Blacksmith Dent for:
   • Draconic Leather Armor + Giant's Breastplate Piece (Lethaer Armor):
     1. Draconic Leather Armor (Bow Mastery)
     2. Draconic Leather Armor (Dagger Mastery)
     3. Draconic Leather Armor (Force Mastery)
     4. Draconic Leather Armor (Weapon Mastery)
