Pb quest 'An arrogant search'

here I stuck on the quests year arrogant search 'it's been three days that I'm on, I had to redo it at least 7 times. the problems is that I feel that this quest does not end, at the end I should have a 'red Pippette knife' to continue my quest 'fates whisper' and I thought that we is not obliged to go Baium.
