Greater Haste Potion dont work

Hello friends, I'm new in the game. I bought 10 Greater haste potion (the green potion that supposedly increases movement speed) to priest of dawn from Dion, I use them but nothing seems change. My speed is still the same. I have taken three in a row but nothing. Is there something I be forgetting?.

I am a lvl 39 human knight with heavy armor grade D.

I also tried the potion that increases attack speed and works fine. I do not know if maybe I'm doing something wrong with the greater haste potion.

ooohh yeah, I've always used with buffs on. So... I can't make me faster than those buffs that make me? I've seen characters run at incredible speed. I thought it was because of that potion.
