New monitor works really fine for anyone concerned. I actually don't much like bigger screens, I gotta dart my eyes all over the place to see what the fuck's going on. That's not immersive to me. But I'll live.
My job continues to be awesome. I code and watch youtube in my slippers all day and nobody cares. Comfy chair, nice office, not too far away, lots of food places around. Low-ass salary, but it's better than most non-coders and for these conditions I'll gladly take it.
I feel you. WoW as got to a point where there's no innovation anymore. It was a major player on the MMORPG scene but at the moment is losing subscribers after subscribers.
Imo blizzard should start fresh with a WOW 2, with revamped graphics, new story and new classes. Keeping adding and removing features and races from the gameplay is not the way to go. That's what made me stop long time ago.
On the other hand we have GW2 who was also a huge hit but left me with a sore mouth when i reached level cap.
Destiny on the other hand, the game starts when you reach "level 40" where your true level is the light level of your gear.
Congrats on the new job. Getting a nice paycheck will take a while, especially since you're on the market for not so long.
