Teh Official OMG WTF thread.

khaled

maybe he is stalking you and like got lots of private pictures of you all over his room which he took while stalking you.....and he wont take no for an answer.

Bavanai

Like not calling back? That's a clue, right?
Depends on the guy. Romantics (what this guy seems to be) tend to be rather naive about girls and oftentimes interpret anything that isn't a clear rejection as a possible indicator of interest. For example, he might interpret that smile and saying nothing as playing hard to get and will just make him try harder.

Too much romance nowadays, a simply "Fa te plac, hai sa ti-o trag" would have bigger chances to succeed. ;)

Because somehow within the last century, it has become the general (and extremely erroneous) consensus that girls are attracted to romantic behaviour. "Be yourself", "tell her how you feel", "write her poetry", this is extremely bad advice that's advertised in movies, media, magazines - everywhere. Why is it bad advice? Because it's not what women are biologically hardwired to find attractive in guys. Sure, they might enjoy reading that poem you wrote, but she'll only enjoy it in the sense that she enjoys the attention you give her without her actually giving anything in return. But it doesn't make her feel attracted to you - on the contrary.

Buia, are you still alive? I need backup.
Actually, no. We need Samu. He was crowned The Queen.

And no, not really. Romance is welcomed, but not just out of the blue. Be romantic when she will appreciate it and not just laugh at you, like I did today...

TheTrickster

I'm actually surprised that you agree with his sentiment, as worded.

khaled

i agree with him too, if a woman finds you too romantic or too attached to her which would make her feel dominate in the relation she will look down on you and lose interest (with few exceptions ofc)

Bavanai

The very foundation of any healthy relationship is attraction. I agree with him in the sense that romantism from guys does not create attraction. HOWEVER, "fa te plac hai sa ti-l vâr" is not a solution nor an alternative to romance.
