If I learned anything on the internet, it's that being right doesn't mean a goddamn diddly thing if people don't agree with you. What matters is convincing. And convincing is best done if you're reasonable and understanding. If you're aggressive and competitive, you WILL drive the other person off and they won't agree with you even if you say the most obvious things. It's how people work.
I know and am usually aware of this and often pay great care to how I express myself, especially about things which might provoke emotional reactions from the persons I'm talking to. Recently, I have become so fed up with certain traits people have that I will just drop any kind of regard to their feelings and offer them my full honest imput. I say what I mean.

And you're not right at all. His behavior can be interpreted as passive-aggressive, but he lacks any kind of motive for it. Just because you can interpret it like that doesn't mean it is.
This is where you're wrong.

How about "he blames me for it"?

That was my initial thought when I saw how defensive he got all of a sudden.
From any point of view that was an aggressive outburst. But you keep using the antonym if it makes you feel any better about yourself and your emo DotA2 passive-aggressive blame on Skype, rofl.

That is a motive to be aggressive. If he just blamed you for it, he'd blame you for it. He'd say "yeah but then logica drove her off". You know we're never being careful not to step on toes here. Unless it's me, of course.

What motive does he have to be passive. Are you an authority figure he can deny attacking?

Aside for the fact that he's enjoying great payment, lives in fuckin' Netherlands and in fair proximity to Amsterdam, has a gorgeous wife and they're both young and healthy and have a house of their own.
