Not like anyone is tying you down and forces you to watch the link, even after it warns you that the content is graphic.

This is like someone telling you "dude, there's a minefield over there" and you go to check it out and upon encountering the signpost saying "WARNING, MINEFIELD, GOING PAST THIS POINT MIGHT RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY AND DEATH" you ignore it and still go. Mine explodes, you lose your leg and start blaming the person who told you about the minefield for YOUR mistake. You need to be more accountable for your actions.

Aaaanyway. What makes that baboon even more of a scumbag is that after the faun finally died, he was like "hey, actually I'm not that hungry anyway".

Even if I was there I wouldn't jump in,as a human you have no chance against that, unless you have some sort of weapon, and even then...

Comparing watching a video on youtube with walking into a minefield. Great analogy. Losing your apetite vs. losing your limbs and/or life.

So if it's something less severe it's OK not to assume responsibility for your actions?

Stop right there. Notice how he said "why would you even watch something like that" and not "it's your fault I watched this disgusting thing and I hate you you disgusting person"?

Yes?

Carry on.

I found the video sad if anything.

Sad because of the useless suffering, I have nothing against the normal way of life (and death), but if the unnecessary pain of those supposed to die could be avoided it would make me a happier person.

Unless it's people/creatures I hate, then it's okay for them to suffer before they die (preferably a really gruesome death)!

But would you condone or enable suffering against people you hate? I feel like that's the interesting question there.

That line was meant as a joke and there are no actual people I hate, but I'll play along anyway.

I couldn't say I would enable it, that would make me an accomplice to the crime (assuming it is one), but I wouldn't condone it either. I would probably be indifferent to it after it has happened and would try to distance myself from it before it happened.

The catch is that if you do condone or enable it, legality notwithstanding, you always run the risk of being wrong about a person or group of people. Just wanted to see if you realized that.
