Tablet came home today. Thought to myself "it's basically a mini-laptop".

SO WRONG

Turns out tablets can't into Flash Player because Google likes being a giant authoritarian piece of shit with their software. So my mom can't watch videos on Facebook unless she uses the app. WHICH IS HORRIBLE, DOESN'T COME IN ROMANIAN LANGUAGE, ISN'T CUSTOMIZABLE AT ALL AND NEEDS ANOTHER APP JUST TO SEND FUCKING MESSAGES

So mad right now.

Adobe discontinued flash for mobile devices not Google. Plus if you really need a browser that somewhat supports flash you can use photon browser. But to be honest I don't miss flash at all on the phone or on the iPad.

Probably not since lost ark looks and seems better in every department. But I will try it,I'll end up playing both of them but I'll probably spend most of my time in lost ark which will would translate to 3 to 4 hours a night,guess I won't be able to play both. Hopefully LE is just as good as lost ark. I'd love to play both

Flash videos on Facebook app work just fine. Flash videos on Facebook WEBSITE don't. I don't want the app; I want the website features of a better layout, chrome's translate feature and the romanian language option that the website has and the app doesn't.

It's Android 4.4 kitkat.

Dolphin doesn't even work. Just loads blank pages.

edit: fixed it (by disabling Jetpack). Trying out the player.

edit2: nope. Doesn't work. Can't enable Jetpack, it breaks the browser.

You can try with Firefox beta (I heard some reports that it worked). You kinda need to enable the flash plug in on settings. Other then that I'm out of ideas.

By the way you mentioned that the app is not in RO. Do you have the tablet language set to romanian? Should be shown in RO if the tablets main language is RO (afaik)

It has a selection of languages, but no romanian on the list. The tablet's language is set ofc. Googling it doesn't give me any useful info.

fb app lacks ro support. it's got support for languages with 2 million speakers. no ro tho.

God damn even to this day I still consider Half Life 2 the greatest video game of all time,what a masterpiece and so ahead of it's time,the amazing story behind it and the connection between Gordon and Alyx made it perfect. Funny how a character that never said a word won the greatest video game character of all time award. Says a lot about how great the game was and how it managed to blow everyone away,I wish the games that we play today would be at least half as good as half life is and I still hate Gaben for leaving us like this with no episode 3,I feel like we're never going to find out how the story ends
