I saw 47 Ronin in the cinema and I loved it, my wife, my brother in law and his girlfriend hated it. Maybe because they don't know much about Japanese feudal culture so they didn't understand why things were happening that way.

Also, just finished "True Detective" this weekend. For some reason I feel like the film industry is going to shambles, rarely do I ever get to see a hands-down good, enjoyable movie nowadays(yeh, I know, probably the most mainstream opinion of the decade). But FUCK ME, the new-age series keep getting BETTER AND BETTER, which is strange and inexplicable at the very least.

True Detective is no stranger from the concept. 'Twas fuckin' brilliant. My two cents. (Can't wait for season two)
