I did pretty much everything that is electrical on this one.

Oh, no.. you have to pay for an activity which might even be fun... And you have to move your ass to a location.. And maybe invite some friends too. Total waste of time and money.

The communist prison is located at a hostel's basement. I can throw you in that dungeon. Here's some of the wonderful work the decorator put into it:

Some parts of my new PC arrived today. I am proud to say I managed to mount the mobo, cpu, and cpu cooler. I feel like a little technician. (I hope the finished result will work)

I bet you'll ask Google's opinion on how to mount the power source!

finishing a video game can take anywhere from a few hours to whole days

but escape rooms are "a waste of time" because you actually have to pay for the service that you receive and enjoy!

Waste of time AND money.

I doubt you could ride a ferris wheel anywhere else except in an amusement park. Going to a movie theather is justified when you don't feel like waiting for the "free" version. And can't even see the connection between tennis and escape rooms or cracked games.

I have two options!

1. I accept to go and work outside the country and they will promote me to Team leader with a sallary raise and yada yada yada

or

2. When the contracts end on the 15th of june they either keep me until the end of the project or we stop there.

[....] ferris wheels are only present in amusement parks. Therefore you have to pay in order to enjoy one, as opposed to escaping a seemingly dead-end situation/room, which you can do somewhere else as well, for free. You can't ride a ferris wheel somewhere else.
[....] movie theaters are just the quick fix if you do not have the patience to wait for it on online. They are not a waste of time and/or money because you get to see the movie you like before it comes out online. Can you see a new movie anywhere else, except in theaters, for the first time, before it's released by the producers?

As for tennis and escape rooms, I don't see your logic in putting those two side by side.

Dota 2 is free. So are ArcheAge and a ton of other games. Legally free.

As i've stated before, you can put yourself in seemingly unescapable siuations without having to pay for it. Who knows, perhaps you might even enjoy those more. You can get this type of amusement for free, so why pay for it? Yea, you can pay for it, but why?
I mean sure, if you want to waste money on something you can also get for free, go ahead.

When i said you can get this type of amusement for free, i wasnt referring to PC games. Just have someone take you in the woods, basic supplies, no map, no compass and find your way back to civilization. And that's just something off the top of my head.
