I wanted to do some weight exercises for my arms but I quit after my 1st try. :)) My arms bend really weird, I don't want to break them. They also started to hurt too much. I wish I could have more motivation.
do you even lift phagget?

Don't start with weights. Do some kind of light aerobic exercises for about a week just to take the rust off your joints. Then think about actual effort.

Start with very low weights, or "if you live in a van, grab a cat, and use it as a weight, cats love being thrown in the air" (Tony Horton). Cracks me up every single time.

My arms bend weird as well, use smaller weights, that's all :p

About the motivation part? I keep thinking of my desired result (84-85 kg) and it drives me forward.

The joint at my elbow doesn't stay straight, it twists upwards..

Lulz Vic,I struggle to maintain 80kgs and you people complain about weight gain :(

A doctor told me it's because of the way I was wrapped as a baby. I can keep my arm straight too, but it's harder, i have to really work that "muscle" to do it. :))

And I'll think about the squats... :))

3more weeks and I'll start to hit the gym again,my legs are shit now,I lost most the size and never had great legs genetics to begin with,don't know how both of my parents have damn good legs and I don't,probably the age or I was probably adopted. meh.

Been there as well, 1.85 and 60 kg.. :)
That happened when I was 17-8 yo.
1.91, ~76kg.
I ate like a machine and relatives were still telling me that I should eat more cause I was skinny. Then uni came and 1 year of grilled sandwiches and nothing but Pepsi and Mirinda fucked up that wonderful metabolism so that I can't stay fit for shit nowadays. My 2nd uni year wasn't all that healthy either but at least I was cooking. The bad side was that I was guzzling a minimum 4-5 beers on a slow day, ranging to 8-9 and tequila shots when we got a little energetic and felt like continuing the boozing through the night. That's what put the nail on the coffin.
Gotta get motivated to start doing some exercises when I get home in the evening. It's hard not to procrastinate. I'm kinda cornered by the will to eat dinner asap so that I don't eat late and the desire to do smth with the Mrs./play something on the PC.
